Gisint Book Club - What Happens?

  • Our Book Club is made up of Year 7 & 8 students who love to read
  • The Book Club meets once a fortnight.
  • Students make their own bookmarks to show they are members of the club.
  • Each member has their photo taken and displayed on the notice board.
  • Book Club members get to look at and choose from the new books coming into the school library.
  • Book Club members can choose to promote their favourite books and recommend books for the library to buy and display.
  • We read, write reviews and discuss the books so we can recommend them to other students at Gisborne Intermediate School.
  • Book Club reviews are displayed in Gisborne Intermediate Library.
  • Each meeting has a fun activity where prizes can be won.
